C A S C A D E – Original Painting

CASCADE features a piece of Elsie, the 150 year old, 60 foot tall Sugar Maple tree on our property. Her branches reached just as wide in each direction. We had to take her down because she had become a danger, but in doing so launched my art. It features a truly unique piece of natural material that gives you a view of both the deeply textured bark and the stunning maple grain. 
 
In CASCADE, the colors move with the same rhythm of the wood. And evoke a leaf'ed out tree in mid-summer. The swirling greens and pinks bring a lush green feeling similar to the one we feel sweep us up during the summer season.

This piece has received a lot of attention. It has exhibited a few times in NYC, with an interior design curator and is being featured in a publication launch.

This piece has received a lot of attention. The original is currently showing in NYC. In fact, it's shown a few times in NYC galleries, with an interior design curator and will be in an upcoming print magazine launch.
 
Mug is a healthy 15oz. Trust me when I say it is the size you want when settling into a conversation over coffee or tea. It's big enough to hold pencils or brushes. 
Tote bags are double sided durable canvas. Come in 3 sizes that can cover you for groceries, quick trips out or beach days.
Pillows are super soft and art is printed edge to edge. Choose stuffed or unstuffed, zipper or no zipper. All machine washable. 
Stickers are great adds to gift wrapping, water bottles, laptops or anywhere you collect your stickers. I personally love them on my studio toolboxes and work tables.

About Elsie: Elsie was a long standing 60 foot tall Sugar Maple tree on our property. Her branches reached just as wide in each direction. She provided shade for the entire yard and was well loved by us as well as the home's previous owner and their family. She had been around when the home was built in the 1870s. She's a piece of history from the property, and we would lay under her and imagine all she had lived through.
